Our dream became reality, Flankup Recordings was born.
And how to start better if not with the fresh and groovy sounds of Discojuice? After the excellent feedback from "DISCOJUICE EP" released on MU Records, we decided to entrust our first release to the talented italian dj and producer.

The melodic and nostalgic groove, with typically soulful influences, is the beating heart of the first track Butterfly that gives its name to the EP. The moog synth and the electric-piano’s samplings complete the deep house atmosphere that can be heard for the duration of the piece.

Vibes from "Roy" expresses the musical style of Discojuice. Vibraphone samples and virtuosities with analog synths converge in purely jazzy rhythms.

The last track in the picture side is Another Face, surely the soul most club of the record. The Moog Bass dominates the scene by strongly marking the first deep sounds; the central break cuts the song by changing the atmosphere into a groovy explosion of funky and disco,
surrounded by a bass slap loop.
